HOTEL CLERKS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES,SKILLS ,EDUCATION
The desk clerk is in charge of checking in the customer and providing them with directions to their room, as well as information about the available amenities offered at the hotel. Hotel Front Desk Clerks may also communicate with guests via phone, handling any problems with the guests’ hotel room.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.· At least 5’5 in height and with pleasing personality· With good communication skills. Understand guests service needs
Attention to detail and strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are important for Hotel Front Desk Agents. A strong sense of customer service is required, as Hotel Front Desk Agents spend much of their time interacting with the public. Strong mathematical skills are needed in order to complete payment processing and bookkeeping responsibilities
